Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Strong white bread flour _ Or all-purpose flour
  • 325 ml Warm whole milk _ Lukewarm, not hot not hot
  • 7 g Active dry yeast _ 1 packet
  • 2 tablespoon Caster sugar
  • 1 large Egg _ Room temperature
  • 50 g Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Extra melted butter _ For brushing rolls
  • Beaten egg optional _ For golden glaze

Equipment

  • 1 Large mixing bowl (For mixing dough)
  • 1 Tea towel (To cover dough during rising)
  • 1 Baking tray (Lightly greased or lined with paper)
  • 1 wire cooling rack (For cooling rolls after baking)

Method
 

  1. Combine warm milk, yeast, sugar, flour, butter, and egg until a rough dough forms

  2. Work the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic
