Ingredients
  

  • 5–6 medium Carrots - Fresh firm, bright orange
  • ½–1 inch Fresh ginger - Optionalfor spice
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice - Optional brightens flavor
  • 1 medium Apple - Optional for extra sweetness
  • 1 medium Orange - Optional citrus twist
  • 1 stalk Celery - Optional for nutrition
  • ½ cucumber Optional refreshing
  • 1 tablespoon Honey - Optional extra sweetness
  • handful Ice cubes - For serving cold
  • ½–1 cup Water - Only if blending

Equipment

  • 1 Juicer or Blender (Main tool depending on method)
  • 1 Sharp knife (For chopping carrots)
  • 1 Cutting board (Preferably for produce only)
  • 1 Fine mesh strainer / cheesecloth (Needed if using blender)
  • 1 Large bowl (To catch juice and pulp)

Method
 

  1. Wash well, peel if desired, and chop into small chunks.
    Fresh cucumber chunks, celery stalks, bowls of honey, ice cubes, and decorative flowers arranged on a white surface.
  2. Juicer: feed carrots (and extras) through chute. Blender: add carrots + splash of water and blend until smooth.

  3. If using blender, pour mixture through fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Press pulp to extract all liquid.

  4. Add lemon juice, ginger, honey, or fruit (apple/orange) to taste.

  5. Drink immediately over ice for best flavor, or refrigerate up to 2–3 days.
