Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup Chia seeds - Organic if possible
  • 1 cup Almond milk - Or coconutoat, or dairy milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract - Pure for best flavor
  • 1–2 tablespoon Sweetener - Maple syrup honey, or monk fruit
  • 1 pinch Sea salt - Enhances flavor
  • Flavor boosters - Cocoa lemon zest, cinnamon, etc.
  • Toppings - Berries banana, nuts, coconut, nut butter

Equipment

  • 1 Wire whisk (Prevents clumping, better than fork)
  • 4 Mason jars (For portioning and storage)
  • 1 set Measuring spoons (Accuracy for ratios)
  • 1 Fine mesh strainer (Optional, for texture check)

Method
 

  1. Whisk liquid ingredients first, add chia seeds gradually, whisk for 2 mins to prevent clumps.

  2. Let mixture sit 15 mins at room temp, whisk again, break up clumps if needed.

  3. Refrigerate at least 4 hours (overnight best). Stir again, add liquid if too thick.

  4. Portion into jars, add toppings just before eating, store up to 4 days, stir before serving.
