  • 4 large Chicken breasts _ Boneless skinless
  • 8–12 slices Ham _ Thinly sliced deli ham
  • 4–6 slices Swiss cheese _ Or Gruyere/provolone
  • 1 teaspoon Salt _ Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper _ Freshly ground
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour _ For dredging
  • 2 large Eggs _ Beaten
  • ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs _ For crunch
  • ½ cup Regular breadcrumbs _ Mix with panko
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika _ Optional
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder _ Optional
  • 3 tablespoon Vegetable oil / butter _ For cooking
  • Cooking spray _ To grease skillet
  • ½ cup Heavy cream Base for Dijon sauce
Optional Sauce:
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard _ For flavor
  • 2 tablespoon White wine _ Optional for richness
  • 1 tablespoon Butter _ For sauce

  • 1 Large oven-safe skillet (For browning and baking chicken)
  • 8–12 Toothpicks (To secure rolls)

Method
 

  1. Butterfly chicken breasts, pound to ¼-inch thickness, season with salt and pepper.
    Assorted fresh cooking ingredients including olive oil, carrots, garlic, butter, herbs, and cream on marble surface.
  2. Lay chicken flat, layer ham and Swiss cheese, then roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.

  3. Dredge in flour, dip in eggs, coat with breadcrumb mixture. Rest 10 minutes.

  4. Heat oil in skillet, brown chicken rolls on all sides for about 8 minutes.

  5. Transfer skillet to 375°F oven, bake 20–25 minutes until internal temp is 165°F.
