Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Pasta - Any pasta type penne, spaghetti
  • 1 can(14.5 oz) Canned Tomatoes - Good quality diced or crushed
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream - For creamy texture
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic - Minced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil - For cooking the garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt - To taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper - To taste
  • ¼ cup Fresh Basil optional - For garnish
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese optional - For garnish
  • ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional - For extra heat

Equipment

  • 1 Large pot (For boiling pasta)
  • 1 Medium Pan or Skillet (For making the sauce)
  • 1 Wooden spoon (For stirring)
  • 1 Cheese grater (For grating Parmesan (optional))
  • 1 Colander (For draining pasta)

Method
 

  1. Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil

  2. Add pasta to boiling water and cook until just shy of done
