Ingredients
  

  • 3 Cucumbers Thinly sliced - English or regular
  • ½ cup White vinegar - Or rice vinegar for a milder version
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar - Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Salt - For drawing out moisture
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh dill - Chopped – more is better!
  • Optional add-ins - Red onion sour cream, black pepper

Equipment

  • 1 Sharp knife (Or mandoline slicer for thin slices)
  • 1 Large mixing bowl (For salting and mixing cucumbers)
  • 1 Small bowl (For mixing dressing)
  • 1 Colander (To drain cucumbers after salting)
  • 1 Paper towel (To blot off excess water)
  • 1 Measuring spoons (For vinegar, sugar, and salt)

Method
 

  1. Thinly slice fresh cucumbers into rounds for even soaking.
