Ingredients
  

  • ½ lb Fresh ginger root - Washed unpeeled, cut into small chunks
  • 1 cup Water - For blending base
  • ¼ cup Fresh lemon juice - From ~2 lemons
  • 2 tablespoon Raw honey - Adjust to taste optional
  • 1 pinch Black pepper - Enhances absorption esp. with turmeric
  • Optional add-ins - Turmeric root orange juice, cayenne, ACV

  • 1 Fine mesh strainer (For separating pulp from liquid)
  • 1 Sharp knife (For cutting ginger into chunks)
  • 4–6 Glass bottles (For storage in fridge)

Method
 

  1. Wash fresh ginger root (no need to peel). Cut into small blender-ready chunks.

  2. Add ginger chunks and water to blender. Blend until completely smooth (2–3 mins).

  3. Pour through fine mesh strainer, pressing pulp. Stir in lemon juice, honey, and black pepper until dissolved.
