Ingredients
  

  • 6 large Jalapeño peppers - Medium size halved and seeded
  • 8 oz Cream cheese - Room temperature
  • 1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese - Shredded
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder - For seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Onion powder - For seasoning
  • To taste Salt - To taste
  • To taste Black pepper - To taste
  • 12 slices Bacon - Thin sliced
  • ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs - For coating
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour - For dredging
  • 2 Eggs - Beaten for coating
  • ½ teaspoon Maple syrup - Secret ingredient mix into cream cheese

Equipment

  • 1 Sharp paring knife (For cutting peppers cleanly)
  • 1 Small spoon (For scooping seeds and filling)
  • 1 Large baking sheet (For baking poppers)
  • 1 wire cooling rack (Optional, helps keep crispy)

Method
 

  1. Cut jalapeños in half, remove seeds, rinse and dry well
    Halved red and yellow bell peppers cleaned and deseeded, arranged on a towel with stems still attached.
  2. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, spices, and maple syrup

  3. Stuff each pepper half with cheese filling
