Paris Hot Chocolate

  • 4 oz Dark chocolate - 70% or higher chopped
  • 1 cup Whole milk - Substitute with oat or almond milk
  • ½ cup Heavy cream - Or use more milk for lighter version
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar - White or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract - Optional but recommended
  • 1 pinch Salt - Balances the sweetness

Method
 

  1. Chop chocolate and measure out milk and cream
    Baking ingredients on a marble surface, including chocolate chunks, flour, butter, eggs, milk, and a whisk.
  2. Warm milk and cream in pot over medium-low heat
