Raspberry Iced Tea

Homemade Raspberry Iced Tea made with fresh raspberries, black tea, and lemon juice. Naturally sweetened, refreshing, and perfect for summer cookouts. Cheaper, fresher, and way better than store-bought!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 bags Black tea _ Or 4 teaspoon loose leaf
  • 2 cups Fresh raspberries _ Thawed if frozen
  • ½ cup Sugar _ Adjust to taste
  • 3 tablespoon Lemon juice _ Freshly squeeze
  • 6 cups Cold water
  • 2 tablespoon Honey _ Optional swap for sugar
  • ¼ cup Fresh mint leaves _ Optional
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice _ Optional
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract _ Optional enhances berry flavor
  • Ice cubes _ For serving
  • Fresh raspberries _ Garnish
  • Lemon slices _ Garnish
  • Mint sprigs _ Garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Large pitcher (At least 2 quarts)
  • 1 Fine mesh strainer (For separating raspberry pulp)
  • 1 Muddler or fork (To mash raspberries)
  • 1 set Measuring cups (For accuracy)
  • 1 Large spoon (For stirring)

Method
 

  1. Boil water, steep black tea bags, and let it cool completely before mixing.
